The way I see it...
Most people smoke because, at some point, they caved into some kind of manipulation, be it through peers (friends are doing it), role models (my favorite actor's doing it), or parents (mom smokes, why can`t I?).
So, every time I see someone smoking, I see another pathetic, weak-willed, easilly-manipulated human cur. And they`re killing themselves.

jjcruiser- no one is saying an anti-smoking campaign is a bad thing- we're saying it`s a waste of time to blame big tobacco for merely advertising. Lots of companies that produce deadly products advertise, why is big tobacco the latest whipping boy, other than smoking is no longer socially accepted?
As for my own damned web site for things I find important? I do think stopping teens from making the same stupid choice that I made is important. That said, I don`t think that is best accomplished by being all nasty towards big tobacco or making laws to further reduce advertising possibilities. I think if anyone really wants their kids to stay smoke free, don`t smoke yourself, keep health a family responsibility in the home and talk to your kids.
If these websites said stuff like that, I`d not have a word to say. But blaming big tobacco for kids smoking is like blaming the country of Columbia for some people doing cocaine.
