youth Female, 18-29, Europe 890 Posts	Monday, March 13, 2006 3:58:30 PM i would never fall in love with someone via the web if they talked like that- it seems to lower your IQ instantly. i dont mind short hand if it sounds the same as it would if you wrote it properly- for example tomoro etc. but i HATE using "dat" and "luvly" and "thort". Everythings alright in small quantities. And i put "haha" i have to have an exclamation mark else it sounds like i dont mean it. haha haha! see the difference?

I really can`t stand thinks like "gr8", "u", "b", etc. I also am not a fan of people leaving the "I" uncapitalized..."i luv u!". It just makes you appear uneducated.

Even though it was made about 8 years ago, the characters were communicating with each other through email. I remember at the time thinking why didn't they just ICQ each other?? I think it was because the movie writers just didn`t get instant messaging. If they had to remake the movie now, it would be a lot different because of IM, webcam, Voip, etc.
