I'd lighten up if commercials weren`t entertaining to so many people. This is indicative to some fundamental problems of the future of this society. Wish I couldn`t care. Anyway, I`d say if you`re gonna preach respect for somebody else`s viewpoint, then I`d expect it to apply to my own as well as yours. Funny how that works, isn`t it?

Personally I found the 2006 Super Bowl commercials rather tame! (Except perhaps for the streaking sheep - what the!) If you want to see a genuinely funny commercial - that was banned from the Super Bowl then check out this one! http://www.quietagent.com/SuperBowl/

SOURCE:http://blogs.dfw.com/startle_gram... Overall I found the commercials uninspired. I guess when you're spending $5 million to air them, you have to cut production budget. The Burger King production number with condiments flying onto a giant whopper was bizarre. That Burger King character with the frozen smile is just creepy. One of the best for me was the cell phone company that says their phones are crime deterrents as a customer continually throws his phone at a guy and hits him in the head. The FedEx commercial with the cavemen was my only LOL moment.Anybody who kicks a little dinosaur deserves to be smashed flat. What may have been the funniest commercial was never aired. ABC refused to show a commercial from quietagent.com, a nationwide employment agency. It features a George Bush type talking about other jobs he might be good at. Check it out at www.quietagent.com/SuperBowl/
