I'm Turkish and I think this movie`s moreso in the vein of something like Armageddon. This isn`t artsy Turkish cinema, it`s just some crap "blockbuster" type film (which never really do well and get mocked just as much in Turkey)

Considering how much fictionally biased crap Hollywood dishes out in it's war movies etc, this is no different, just aimed at a different audience with a different perpective.

A little variety never hurt anyone.
