Only a true "master" of guitar can play all styles imaginable and still have the style and feeling in their music. Guys like John5, Joe Satriani and Paul Gilbert can show you what a multitude of styles really is.

And skill goes with style. If you play metal then your skill develops in fast runs and heavy rhythm picking. If you play jazz you develop your skill in scales, bending notes and such.
You can't say that James Hetfield (Metallica) is better than Jimi Hendrix (or vice versa), they have completely different styles of music with different techniques implemented in their music. So maybe it`s not hard for you, but the time it would take to master what he does takes commitment and time.
