yeah, the yahoo maps are nice, but I like the google ones too. I think some of the maps come from the same maps TeleAtlas provides for my GPS

"Second..."I think in a couple years we'll have real time satellite maps of the country. . .you`ll be able to zoom in on a specific place and see it in real time views. " if they do that, some one will sue them for invasion of privacy and get it shut down."
They could just allow it to zoom in on public places...

Y'know, I really get annoyed when the pseudo-web nerd crowd gets all giddy over Google.
Google maps is just a rip off of MapQuest (with an admittetly slightly better search function) and TerraServer. TerraServer has been around many, many years before Google Maps, and provides a sattelite imagery service with no watermark at a much better resolution.
In fact, even MapQuest had areal images many moons before Google came out with their maps, but scrapped them for some unknown reason.
I`m just saying that Yahoo maps is just as much of a rip as Google maps was. Quit acting like Google`s some sort of a god-like entity who is the epicenter of all original ideas.
