HAHA! Stupid tech support told my my computer wasn't working cause my power supply was bad. WRONG. Then, after making me take apart my computer piece by piece, (to see how many times it would beep when I pressed the power button,) they switch me to their supply department (where they think they can make me hold for another half hour.) After taking it to a local repair place, I find I can`t just replace the power supply cause only a PROPRIETARY Dell ps will fit in a PROPRIETARY Dell case, as will my PROPRIETARY motherboard.
So I buy a new case, mb, ps and processor (cause that`s what actually died.)
The moral of the story, children, is this: You cannot diagnose someone`s computer over the phone from the other side of the planet (their tech support is in India, if you didn`t know) by having them pull out their video card and saying "How many lights are there now?"

lol, thats kiddies, is a 404, that means that they took the page off, prolly rather quickly because this was posted on iab, so tough luck to people who were too slow (me included). but as for computers, i build mine from the ground up...always
