I could tell he was trying to control his temper and language. There will always be some critisims people spot, if they hate him from the beginning. Everything he does would be stupid or weird. But seriously that fake reporter guy was really rude, some jokes just aren't funny.

In mission impossible he plays a man that knows exactly what hes doing and how hes going to do it. In War of The Worlds he plays an average citizen struggling to survive and keep his daughter alive.

Theres no difference. I dont think he can act, I think he just plays himself, and he`s played it out. He`s acting because girls go nuts over him.
