Why does the color not match from one view to the other? I know this can really be done, but many of these, the front view looks like a totally different color. Many of the front views, the colors look almost "transparent". May just be me, and I'm not calling "fake", but many of them certainly seem odd to me.

"It's fairly easy to do. All you need is a laser level locked an on a ball head, chalk and paint, etc."
I can tell you that I have done it before. I didn`t use a laser level. All I did was use a projector to project onto multiple / angled surfaces. The image looks right from the point of the projector. Then you get a marker and trace the image as it is distorted along the different planes.
I`ve done cartoon characters and complex illustrations that way, not just simple geometry like this.
