Why are you all worrying yourselves about such menial things. And getting so pissed off at it at the same time. It's great that you want to show off how clever and smart you are, but come on show some modesty. They are called television and movies for a reason. It is not real life. Plus they do things that may be physically impossible or stupid to advance the plot line where they want the story to go. Get over yourselves already and stop pointing out the mistake they made because it doesn`t mean poo.

Found some unidentified powder at a crime scene? Eat some - it`s a certain test for drugs and can`t possibly be dangerous.
You`re a criminal and the police are after you? Always head for the roof. What could possibly stop you escaping from the roof of a building hundreds of feet high?
Someone I know is studying forensics and intends to be a CSI. She can no longer tolerate watching CSI TV shows because they`re all so very wrong.

Here's another one. When in a fight with the bad guy who`s chasing you, if you get the upper hand, don`t start running again. Continue to beat them until there`s no way they can recover and start chasing you again.
