A Laurel and Hardy movie with Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly? There's some hope.

Looks interesting, I do love the old Laurel and Hardy films. They both look and sound the part.

Coogan is spot on, but you can tell that  Reilly is wearing makeup.

Shouldn't one of them be a black woman?

mikesex I couldn't, Oliver Hardy died 3 years before I was born. I did grow up watching their films, even got to see March of The Wooden Soldiers  (AKA:Babes in Toyland) at the Jewel Theater in Mount Clemens.

I like these actors and I'm sure it will be well directed and well written and a very good movie. That being said it looks like it would put me to sleep.

I like true life stories, generally. But if this is good or bad you can't tell from a trailer. Have to see it.

I always preferred the Stooges over Stan and Ollie, but it might be worth a look, not sure how it will make any money at the box office tho.

I wonder what John C. Reilly's diet and training regime were to get himself in such a shape! Jeeze.

kalron The prosthetics might be the only thing that takes me out of this, but it looks very promising and anything Coogan's in is usually great.
