The body of a four-month-old boy whose mother, Justice Lange, reported she couldn't remember the past four days or where she left him, was discovered in North Dakota on Saturday.
Tyr and his mother, both of Fargo, were reported missing on Monday. Justice was found wandering around on Friday by a farmer in rural Woodworth. Justice told authorities she could not remember the past four days, so they began the search in the area where she was discovered.
Tragically, after a 30 member search party that included several agencies covering an eight mile area, the baby was found dead in some weeds near a swamp. Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser, told the Pioneer Press, 'We did find the four-month-old close to our search area that we were looking in.'
'We received some better information from the mother and we were able to then locate the baby.' There was no clear indication as to cause of death. The baby's body was taken to the North Dakota State Forensic Examiner in Bismarck for an autopsy.
'We won't know the cause of death until the autopsy,' he said. Meanwhile the mother was hospitalized for unknown injuries.
