I'm pretty sure frequency is exponentially proportional to energy, so when the Planck temperature is reached you essentially have a singularity and the laws of physics break down. Past this point, heading towards infinity even stranger things happen the very fabric of space is so curved that it breaks down. Things travel faster than the speed of light because the universe itself is expanding, like during the big bang inflationary period.
