That was an awesome video. I ran web printing presses, complete with inline finishing, for 20 years. I remember certain Pantone colors such as reflex blue, and Home Depot Orange, and Walmart blue. Well that's, what we called them.

You could tell that one guy was a pro mixing the ink with a spatula for there was not a speck of it on his clothes or skin.  I'd look like a Pollock painting.

There's a good chance that some of those 55 gallon drums may be one of products my company manufactures, as we have quite a few colorants.

I used to work in a print shop and one of my jobs was the mix the ink for the printing press.  There's a Pantone Matching System (PMS) ink chart that tells you the formula you need to get the hue(s) you want


Nowadays you have auto mixers that can go by a computer scan, but we had to weigh that shit out and be DEAD ON or it would bork up the whole project.
