Ah, the Spanish Inquisition. What do you think, IAB? Has this old bit aged well?

Yes. This is one of their best bits, though I never really understood what Gilliam is doing when he starts up a little dance number. But then again, it's Gilliam.

Oh, I didn't realize it was a whole compilation of the running gag. The punchline in the courtroom is expertly done: "I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition" (everyone turns to await their entry)

Gerry1of1 Life of Brian was rather terrible. The Holy Grail is far better. While not strictly Monty Python movies, there are several Terry Gilliam movies that I would recommend, like The Adventures of Baron Munchausen...it has a number of the troupe in it, as well as Uma Thurman and Robin Williams

SMRD Nope.  Haven't made it through the Holy Grail.  I got as far as 
impersonating nuns and just had to quite.   Stupid.

I like their style of comedy it's ridiculous but can also be smart, never looks it though.
