just2talk   No question of it, also Don't Panic is straight out of "The More Than Complete Hitchhiker's Guide".  I love the symbolism.

monkwarrior how do you explain the rocket not being warped at all by the fish eye lense?

Male 12,958
aegis1294 it's fish-eye, and you can see it when the rockets break free and fall away.  It's quick, but you can definitely see it, look around the 24:30's

monkwarrior I didn't see a single distortion, look at 25:00-26:00 you can see the engine clearly and also the curve of the earth.

aegis1294 because you don't want to see or don't know how to see it. I told you it was quick, but you can definitely see it.

monkwarrior Slightly off topic here. When was the last time you admitted you were wrong about something? What was it?

PosisDas I admitted i was wrong about my calculations of the curvature of the earth a month ago right here on I-A-B, and just the other day when i said the calculation of 6/2(1+3) is 1, when it turns out it's a mal-formatted equation (people get 1 or 9), so therefore is undefined.  More recently i admitted i was wrong just yesterday to a co-worker, over an issue that we resolved. I love being wrong, that's how we learn.  The more you're wrong, the more you learn. I've been wrong a lot in my early life, and it has guided me to think before i say things.

monkwarrior, “I admitted i was wrong about my calculations of the curvature of the earth a month ago right here on I-A-B...”

Was that in the Chicago skyline post? I must have missed it.

holygod no, i can recognize when a fish-eye lens is being used, can't you?
0

Male 12,916
monkwarrior Yes. I can. In previous conversations you have said that the reason the Earth was curved in some videos was because of a fish-eye lens. Is that the reason you think it looks curved in this one?

Male 12,958
holygod i've also seen fish eye lenses make the earth look concave (   .  It's easy to see the fish-eye in some of the nearby things, that's how i know a fish-eye lense is used.  I've made no comment on the earth curvature about this video, you're simply a desperate troll trying to save face now.

doiknowyou I don't think that car's ever coming back. Musk himself estimated that it would be flying around in space for about a billion years, barring a meteor impact.
