Submitted by: muert 3 months ago in News & Politics Science

Tommorow morning, you can see all three at once -- NASA's calling it the "lunar trifecta."

Super Moon:
Moon is physically closer than usual.
Blue Moon:  Two Full Moons in the same month.
Blood Moon: A lunar eclipse where the sun's rays passing through the atmosphere give the appearance of the moon turning red.

Yep, I'll observe on my way to work and have a pretty good view for a while when I get there too.
