Submitted by: fancylad 1 week ago in Weird

This 21-year-old guy wanted the gains, but didn't want to put in the time in the gym so he injects site enhancement oil in his arms.

Ok so he looks completely deformed, the skin is ruined, no one other than someone with an IQ of a soap dish is going to believe thats real and his body is so poorly disproportioned all one can ask is WHY?! Geez .

I don't understand why people do this, it's just not right.

Hmm, my partner has heart issues, his legs swell with fluid, it doesn't really show but by christ it feels HORRIBLE if you press it, somehow wrong and your brain knows it. I cannot imagine this is any different- not hard or appealing, just- wrong-

madduck Pitting and non-pitting edema is horrible..I‎t sucks for those who can’t help it and have to live with I‎t..Most people have to take medications to treat I‎t..Why  someone would purposely do this to themselves is beyond me. I bet if someone poked those biceps in. I bet they would stay pressed in.

For a second I thought they were talking about what Worf and his pals drank.

This fitness website details the history and dangers of synthol and other SEOs fairly well.  I didn't fact check it or anything, but it seems legit: https://www.tigerfitness.com/articles/post/synthol-oil-muscle-site-enhancement-seos/

There seems to be zero benefit to using these things and a whole host of potential problems - all for a temporary "increase" to muscles.

faustsshadow Don't think of it as an increase to muscles (ie, being stronger) its just fluid.  It swells tissue but he is not one iota stronger because of those injections.

faustsshadow They do cite their sources, though.  Seems like they did a good job on the research.

I'm gonna want to see a follow up vid to this one.  If he doesn't loose his arms (as spanz stated) I'd be curious to see how well the skin retracts, I see a lot of angry stretch marks there.

It looks like swollen and infected tissue, it looks nothing like actual muscle.
