DC Comics' Eddie Berganza

DC Comics fired editor Eddie Berganza after BuzzFeed reported about the years of his alleged sexual harassment against female co-workers. It's alleged that Berganza (who has been at DC Comics for 25 years), forcibly kissed co-workers and an attendee at a comic convention.

DC Comics knew of the allegations, but decided to demote Berganza in 2012 instead of firing him. DC fired Berganza on Saturday, after the BuzzFeed report. "DC prides itself on being a premier destination for top talent as well as an amazing creatively collaborative place to work that is a safe and secure environment for our employees and extended freelance family," Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment, told DC employees in a Saturday email.

They knew about it and were ok with it, demoted but let him continue. When it became public suddenly they pride themselves on a safe environment.
