I just throw a couple ears of field corn out under the feeders. The squirrels eat that instead of the bird seed. Though they often have to fight the Grackles for it.

punko Hmph. Looks like I'll have to wave any acorns I find in your yard with a metal detecting wand.

Squrlz old buddy, you’re looking a little porky in that pic. Time to back away from the bird feeders.

scheckydamon No cause for alarm--it's just prehibernation weight gain. Happens every year. There's just more of me to love.

squrlz4ever just so long as there is a corresponding spring weight loss to go along with it.  Otherwise you may end up looking like Rosie O'Donnell with fur.

thezigrat That sounds like a good schedule. Most squirrels enjoy a midday siesta.
