Well, the Hoffman certainly LOOKS interesting, but how does it drive?

Well it does look cool. I'd like to see an interview with some of the designers and hear what they have to say about it.

casaledana Tripods do not corner well.... ever. It's been tried on a number of vehicles and they all roll at the corners

casaledana It seems like this car was a "one-off" and not mass produced.
Check my link below for other amazing micro-cars.
There's also sites dedicated to the 3-wheel cars and the 'reverse' 3-wheels like the Hoffman is.
It literally was another mass-produced car frame, turned backwards with VW parts and a custom shell :/

Apparently he hasn't seen the episode of Top Gear and the Reliant Robin.

Apparently the Nazis burned through all the great German engineers during the war and the few who were left were absorbed into the United States space program. The flunkies remaining then designed the Hoffmann. As the guy said, it looks like every key engineering decision was the absolute worst decision imaginable.

Honestly, who would ever think that having a gas tank fill cap on the roof, with a pipe snaking its way downward through the passenger compartment, was a good idea? *facepaw*
