Two Asian Giant Hornet Colonies Go To War

Just a prefatory thought to keep you up at night: If there's an extraterrestrial equivalent of the Asian giant hornet and it finds the maps leading to Earth aboard the Voyager spacecraft, we're screwed.

Awesome.  I used to live in an area with Cicada Killer Wasps.  I saw one swoop in and take out a Cicada mid-flight and start stabbing the shit out of it.

In one word...NNNNNOOOOPPPE!

kalron27 We have Cicada Killers here in SE Pennsylvania. I'll usually start to notice them in mid-August when the cicadas are buzzing. I've never seen one in the middle of an attack like you saw, though. That must have been something to see.

daegog Yeah. The way some of the shots move, I'm thinking some poor cameraman was actually present for much of this. Some other shots must have been done by remote.

Naz14 I totally sympathize. As a young squirrel, I was terrified of bees and wasps. I can remember once walking on a trail somewhere with my mother behind me when a wasp appeared and was flying around me and my body just went rigid with fear. I simply could not move, I was that frightened. Thankfully, I seem to have outgrown most of that fear. This video did raise the hairs on the back of my neck a few times, though.

Gilbert Godfried should have narrated this.  He did a wonderful job reading this.
