A nice video on how Terry Crews and his son got a great bonding experience, and learned a bit too.

Awesome story. I felt the same way when I built my own PC-it's a really rewarding experience

After I built mine, my younger son wanted a gaming PC too, so we built it together.. it was a lot of fun until the motherboard revealed itself as fucked up and took the hard drive with it when we first powered up lol.  Newegg graciously replaced both and he's been running strong for 2+ years now.

Dunno why you got a thumbs down - so I gave ya a thumbs up to neutralize it.
Newegg is a pretty good site - I spend a lot of money there - and they ALWAYS back their sales.

captkangaroo I have a "fan" that downvotes anything I post lol :D  I started off looking at Tigerdirect, but Newegg is far better.  I've built 3 from them now, one is almost 4 years old now... still flawless.

Too bad about the fan.
I do not like Tiger Direct. Too often 'Deals' and specials seem to disappear when ordering, or an order may take up to - in one case - 3 weeks for delivery. Too many problems with them.
Newegg, on the other hand, delivers what I order, for the price listed at time of order, and delivers it fast! If an issue crops up they make it right. I've built several computers for family and myself using Newegg.

I have the same faded yellowed white computer case I acquired from 2006.  That faded yellow white computer case houses a metric fuck ton of more power than the original motherboard\processor\ram could have possibly imagined.

Build your own PCs...become the master race...

kalron27 yes but spend a few $ and buy a decent case that won't rip you to shreds as you build the pc as well.  It doesn't need to look like Vegas at night just have decently rolled edges and decent layout for cables and airflow.
