His pronunciation of 'Vladimir Putin' at the 3:13 mark is worth the click alone.

I was skeptical, but it's true. I literally laughed out loud.

Hard to believe anything he says. He's been lying about himself and his accomplishments for his entire career.

You know what's disgusting? Claiming to have been a Navy Seal and worked with the CIA when both are lies. Seagal's lies are well documented, he practices a fake martial art, claims to be the reincarnation of a lama, and has not ONCE proven he can actually fight in any kind of competition on record.

Steven Seagal is a fraud.

kalron27 I'll give you that, but it's still something more akin to Tai Chi. Good exercise, useless against a real fighter. It's trained entirely through choreographed routines, with no actual competitive sparring.

Thepinkman (Great channel, once you get used to his voice.) has an excellent video on Aikido, if you're interested.

I didnt hear him say anything insane or outrageous. Who the fuck thought that?

What he said is absolutely fair - 'imposing political views', 'hyjacking' (a little bit hash word but, okay). Disgusting is just another word that is chucked at shit without thought.
Watching someone pick their nose is disgusting. but Ill bet you've all picked your own.
Some people might find watching a birth disgusting. Doesnt mean the outcome is a bad thing.

Simple fact is, America has become too tied up in trying to find literal meaning in a language that they themselves have completely fucked over.

As for Russian language and pronounciation, its Americans that are pronouncing it incorrectly. Along with many other things Americans say and dont bother to check how the native language pronounces it.
(It wasnt the best, but it is a damn sight better than most yanks.) Its like the way Americans fuck Chernobyl or as boredhuman said below, Iran and Iraq.

 And as far as the way he said Putin's name it is odd for an American but not for a Russian speaking English. Which he is not but it may also be the way to say it in Russian. As far as what he had to say he seemed perfectly clear to me and on point as far as an opinion about the subjects. I do have to say how weird his hair is it looks like he uses that Popeal spray on hair, I have a teddy bear with the same looking hair.

Actually Seagal made a decent attempt of pronouncing Putin's name the way Russian do it.
FYI: It's Iraq, not iRack; Iran, not iRan

I haven't listened the rest of the interview and frankly don't care what he has to say...

I agree, that at 3:13 it was worth the view alone. A Las Vegas, aged Steven Segal impersonator with a black mini-golf tee green on his head saying "Wladimeer Poootin". was great

moomatz LOL. I'm with you. I got a kick out of that too. Affecting a Russian accent to pronounce Putin's name doesn't lend Seagal gravitas. On the contrary, it's pretentious as heck.

Personally i don't agree with the title:

"The Most Insane Interviews Of 2017, He's All Over The Place"

He was spot on about the propaganda being a diversion, and people like those tv show hosts were coming across as deluded as can be by feigning stupidity.  Though it could be taken they were trying to coax an answer, the reality is they're preaching their delusions.  And he's right, the people in that nation are being diverted from seeing what is happening.

i read this today:
 All of these overly paid football players are using their popularity, due to sport, to further a political advantage. Then when Trump voices his opinion that they should be fired for doing so, then everyone is whining about Trump bringing politics into football. Trump didn't bring politics into football. The disrespectful players did.

monkwarrior I'm puzzled as to your stance on the football players, Monk. You're calling them disrespectful. But for years now you've been stating that the U.S. is a terrorist nation, that it's lost its way, that it's circling the drain, et cetera, et cetera. So how is it that you're offended by athletes taking a knee for the anthem of a country that, so far as I can gather, you don't think deserves respect?

Help me out here.

monkwarrior Are you somehow not able to understand that the president of the United States has a major impact on how the United States government is run? That he sets an agenda? That he sets a tone? That he makes a myriad of appointments, including appointments to the Supreme Court, each of whom affects how the Constitution is interpreted, tax dollars are spent, and/or laws are enforced?

By repeatedly declaring that 'government != Trump' (whoever said they are one and the same?), you're evading intelligent discussion, for whatever reason.

squrlz4ever I figured as a programmer you would perfectly understand government != trump.  how about if i do it like this:
government != trump;

or:
if (date == now)
{
    government != trump;
}
else if (date == (now+4years))
{
    government != trump;
}
else if (date == (now -4years))
{
    government != trump;
}
else
    government !=trump;

squrlz4ever It is unproductive, I said i didn't care, you then tried to imply government = trump, then i stated government != trump.  You went off with a quote from wikipedia "president: It's the highest elected position within our government."  and i was basically like "wth is squrlz going on about o.O" because "trump is the highest elected position within trump" makes no sense at all, proving my point government != trump.  I really don't get what you were trying to get at.

monkwarrior "Trump is the highest elected position within Trump"? Excuse me, but what the heck does that even mean? Where did that sentence or idea even come from other than FROM YOU? I'm glad you understand that it "makes no sense at all" because that suggests you're aware that you have a screw loose.

You're either a troll or you're sick in the head. Either way, I'm done with you.

daegog I have no idea. I think Monk should take three or four months off to write his own manifesto. He could just post it online and refer people to it. I'm thinking it would flesh out his political philosophy a bit. The phrase western media delusions is absolutely threadbare at this point.

casaledana I forget the username, but one of our British friends--the guy from London--was on here once stating that documents have been found outlining the Kremlin's strategy for weakening the U.S. and asserting Russia on the world stage. In a nutshell, the plan was to use every form of media available to foment division within the United States: conservatives against liberals, whites against blacks, poor against rich, majorities against minorities, et cetera, et cetera.

I think what this Brit was saying is probably true. If I were Russian and I wanted to take down the United States, I'd try using its diversity against itself.

It's really disturbing to think about.
