i hope it can be like mad max: fury road

Several members of the press had the opportunity to see Blade Runner 2049 ahead of its release next month. While the review embargo doesn't lift until closer to release, Warner Bros. has allowed members of the press to share their initial impressions of director Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi sequel on Twitter...

nah. Looks like Prometheus. Not enough color, not enough beats, if that's the best they've got for a trailer, this movie doesn't have anything but Harrison and a few smug smiles. I watched the OG version again the other night, and now I'm gonna watch it another time, because it's actually beautiful, unlike the utter trash they're pumping out. Gonna complain? Stop paying money for shit movies. Shallow movie watchers, shallow movies, one simply followed from the other.

rumham well, when in a few days, when I'm proven right for the sixty millionth fucking time, you can stuff your comment right back up your ass.
Has rumham ever read Philip K? No. Everything ever written by Philip K? No. Seen every single feature movie directed by Ridley Scott? No.
That you think you know what you're talking about, it makes me cringe. You're not a movie watcher, you're a fucking sellout.

Personally my expectations are really low, like a poor empty movie like Mad Max (the new one), star trek (the j.a. ones forward), star wars VII (the other j.a. one) and just about any other reboot; no reverence to the original or focus on its lore, but all about the money. Even if this movie exceeds my expectations, it would still have a lot of work to do in order to approach the level of the 1st one.  I would like to see movies that entertain and expand your way of thinking a bit, and i hope it is, but hollywood lost its way too long ago, and there's low expectations because the chances are it's just another money grab.

Ana de Armas, rawr rawr.  I'd watch just because of her.  She's like the crazy ex gf.

Fingers crossed for gratuitous nudity.

My  first impression is "NO".   it's been 20 years. The original cast are too old. You might as well try to remake "Gone With The Wind" or " Wizard of Oz".
