North Korea’s Nuclear Test Site Is At Risk Of Imploding On Itself After Multiple Bomb Tests

So there's a good chance they'll take care of themselves? What if North Korea has some sort of accident? You know they'll say America had something to do with it.

An excerpt from the South China Morning Post: The single mountain under which North Korea most likely conducted its five most recent nuclear bomb tests, including the latest and most powerful on Sunday, could be at risk of collapsing, a Chinese scientist said.

By measuring and analyzing the shock waves caused by the blasts, and picked up by quake stations in China and neighboring countries, researchers at the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, Anhui province, said they were confident that they were all carried out from under the same mountain at the Punggye-ri test site.

The team from the seismic and deep earth physics laboratory made the claim in a statement posted on their website on Monday. Its leader, geophysicist Wen Lianxing, said that based on data collected by more than 100 earthquake monitoring centres in China, the margin of error was no more than 100 meters.

Wang Naiyan, the former chairman of the China Nuclear Society and senior researcher on China’s nuclear weapons program, said that if Wen’s findings were reliable, there was a risk of a major environmental disaster.

If radiation gets out into the open it's on its way to North America.

I thought the United Nations said they had to stop testing these things anyway.

Am I the only one who thought "Wow, is KJ about to do a keg stand?" when seeing that first picture?

nice propaganda news. Any test facility is at risk of blowing up. We had a few of them go here in America

I really don't understand the rationale of North Korea,  Honestly it's looking like more and more Kim Jong Un is in fact insane or at the very least not mentally stable and thus is incapable of acting rationally.  Thank god we have an irrational strong man as our President as well.  I'd be shocked if we didn't end up in a war.

"I really don't understand the rationale of North Korea.."

Do you like being told what to do, or how to behave? I suspect KJU doesn't.

agurney Sorry I don't see the problem with trying to dismantle authoritarian regimes.  They are dangerous and against everything I believe in.
