That facility looks like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey. When the technology gets there, I want these people to assemble my sex robot.

Whats's a Leica?

Oh! It's an over-sized cell phone with no reception.

toetagmodel2 Just one of the best cameras ever made (the original ones, that is). The first reliable 35mm horizontal format camera, and the lenses were the best of the time.

They recorded much of history and allowed artists to share their vision.

megrendel I'm sorry I provided unwarranted social commentary at the cost of your cultural icon.

toetagmodel2 Please note, when I refer to the famous Leica, I'm referring to the old 35mm type which, for its time, was a masterpiece.

The new one is basically as you describe it. It is not one I would purchase in favor of my current Nikon.

If you broke down each of the individual tasks, just about all of it looks like something you could train a person to be adept in within a month.

I dunno, I would hesitate to call this craftsmanship, very clean facility tho.

Nice, but was really hoping it would be about the WWII era Leicas, Like the Leica II or III.

megrendel Me too but we take what we can get. My dad had 2 of the WW2 vintage that somehow got away. Man I wish I had them now, they could pay for my retirement.
