Some sports teams give out free bobble heads, other teams hand out t-shirts -- the Baltimore Ravens are giving fans the opportunity to share their DNA with a private genetic testing company, according to The Baltimore Sun.
So this Sunday, the Ravens will hand out free DNA test kits to fans entering M&T Bank Stadium for the team’s home opener against the Cleveland Browns. When they leave the stadium, they'll drop off the cotton swab they covered with their saliva into bins placed outside the stadium exits. The team calls it "one of the most innovative events a partner has ever spearheaded."
What it seems like is that the Ravens front office and Orig3n are going to try and get 70,000 people in Baltimore to willfully give their DNA to a company that will sell that information everywhere, not to mention banking your DNA for a rainy day.
