It's going right over us here in the Williamette Valley in Oregon. I've got my 1300mm lens on the Canon digital, it hasn't rained here in 3 months and...guess what...it's forecast to rain on the 21st. Mother Nature hates me......

handimanner Where did you hear it's gonna rain? Every forecast i see shows clear weather that day.

But of course this being the northwest, that could change quickly...

Unfortunately it dips south when heading East towards me, to far to make a trip or I actually would consider it.  Oh well, just gotta hold out for another 7 years or so to see it again...this one will come East.

I'm in Kentucky, so I'll have a pretty good view.  A bit north of the total path but should be at like 95%.  Looking forward to it!

I'll only get the partial eclipse here in San Diego but I've got the glasses already so I can look at the Sun when it happens
