I always viewed his style as "shotgun comedy." He would travel down many paths and say a lot of things and some of it would be funny.

Not sure if genius or amateur tactics to this day.

That said. Suicide and depression are cruel b******ds that infect the mind and steal sensibility from the distraught.

toetagmodel2 Watch the video I posted, it wasn't depression (not to lesson that issue).  He actually had Louie Body Dementia, something that needs to be discussed more and remembered as to not get misdiagnosed as Robin did.

monkwarrior WTF?  I don't idolize Mr. Williams, but I think it sucks that he's dead.  My mother has passed away, and that really sucks, but I certainly didn't idolize her.

Can I celebrate their lives?  Yes, I do.  Can I be happy that I had them in my life for as long as i did ? Certainly.  Can I feel lousy because they are dead?  Absolutely.

Death is a part of life. Without question.  Does it suck when it happens to someone you like/love?  Yes.  Do I wish that I could have more time with both of them? Yes.

This is normal.  Missing someone who was in your life when they're gone, is normal.

Is there a possibility I may meet them again in person?  Yes.  Am I counting on it?  No.

Also, if you haven't seen World's Greatest Dad with Robin directed by Bobcat, it's a great underrated dark comedy.

kalron27 Personally, I don't think that was one of his better movies.  It was good, but not one of his better works IMO.  Then again, I'm not a huge fan of Dark Comedies in General.  Another one not a lot of people I talk to have seen is Death to Smoochy, which was also not one of his better works but still a good movie.

waldo863 Where did I say it was his best work?  I was just acknowledging it was an underrated film he did with Bobcat Goldthwait to complement the link below, and a damn good one at that.  Dark, strange and funny.

His best film IMHO is The Fisherking.

Here is a great interview with Bobcat Goldthwait who was one of Robin's closest friends.  It explains a lot more than what was release in the media.
