One of the good ones.
Former Royal Marine Matthew Goodman, who served in the 2003 Iraq war, is selling his military service medals to help fund four-year-old Lottie Woods-John's £200,000 ($256,027) cancer treatment, even though the two have never met.
Goodman, 35, read about little Lottie's battle with neuroblastoma and decided to step in and help the family. If you have a few quid or dollars to spare, you can donate to Lottie's fundraising campaign for medical treatment here.
Still giving, even after service.
