David Letterman Is Returning To TV With A Netflix Talk Show

Submitted by: fancylad 1 week ago in Entertainment

Less than three years after he retired from hosting "The Late Show," David Letterman announced today that he'll return to television with a new six-episode series in 2018. According to a press release, the still-untitled hour-long show "has Letterman combining two interests for which he is renowned: In-depth conversations with extraordinary people, and in-the-field segments expressing his curiosity and humor."

In a statement, Letterman added, "I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix. Here's what I have learned: If you retire to spend more time with your family, check with your family first. Thanks for watching, drive safely."

I wonder if he'll schedule Bill Murray as he first guest, as he traditionally does...

I haven't watched any of Letterman's stuff in years, but he is the only one of the late night comics I ever could really tolerate.

He needs to loose the beard.  He looks like Burl Ives.

Oh spare us please! An ancient, washed up, has-been who stopped being funny 20 years ago and switched to "PC" and SJW? Like there aren't 100 of those on TV already?

Maybe he can get Arnold Schwarzenegger on for the first show and talk about how much fun it is to fuck the maids while being married? (while lecturing others on the sanctity of marriage at the same time, right Dave?) The guy is a louse, keep him out in the pasture!

5cats You know, if you don't like something you can simply not watch it.  Unless of course someone has you strapped to a chair and is holding your eyelids open.  In that case, instead of posting here you should probably contact your local authorities.
