Bruce Willis Has A Lot Of Balls For Sullying The Beloved Memory Of Charles Bronson

Submitted by: fancylad 6 months ago in Entertainment

Willis breathes new life into another classic franchises that didn't need saving. There was nothing wrong with Charles Bronson's "Death Wish" series, but one can see why movie studios would be attracted to the movie's storyline in 2017. An off-kilter family man, who then goes out into the city and gets revenge on the men who kill his wife, and rape and leave his daughter in a coma.

While the new Death Wish follows the original Death Wish's broad strokes, the reboot is fast-paced, glossy, and there's just enough smarm in Willis's vibe to take you out of the scene. Compare the two trailers and judge for yourself.

I don't think the Deathwish series holds up very well over time.

I'd expect the movie to get terrible reviews by critics, and bad/decent by audiences. Still, I'm sure it will make money - thanks to conservative masses.

I've got a great original idea.  Let's just remake movies and not bother with doing any of our own thinking.

I saw this yesterday and puked in my mouth a little.  Turns an amazing thriller\drama into just another shoot-out action film.

Plus, needs more mustache!

Did anyone else read the original book?  Its nothing like the movies.. the dude in the book ends up killing people over stupid shit like graffitti.

He was a lunatic, not a hero vigilante, a lot closer to american pyshco than this urban rambo shit.

Meh, i will prolly watch it anyhow.
