Preppers get ready, it's almost game time!

According to Wnews, In Indonesia, villagers in Toraja in South Sulawesi practice a peculiar tradition for the dead bodies. This tradition or ritual is called Ma’nene, or the ceremony of cleaning corpses. As seen in the video, various corpses were dug up from their grave by their families and relatives for them to undergo the said ritual.

National Geographic has a pretty interesting article about the Ma’nene ritual.

I had planned to go here with my college buddies, sadly none of them could commit, it is interesting though, they do not bury their dead but rather think that the dead will find its way back if they are being led.

normalfreak2 Especially as care for the dead (i.e. funeral practices) is one the hallmarks of a civilization.
