Last year, the puffins on The Puffin Cam didn't produce any eggs, so no puffling, but this year the duo has returned (we think) and little 'Eggbert' (as all the eggs are named) has hatched into a brand new puffling, Conrad!
Willie is the adult with leg bands, and is 15 years old. Billie has no bands and nothing is known about him/her. No one knows the gender of the two parents, but the puffins know and that's all that matters.

An attempt to move the cam to a different burrow was unsuccessful, the puffins were too upset by it, so it was a dull season for puffin watching.
However? The couple is back! 15 year-old 'Willie' and what we assume is the same mate from last year (they tend to mate for life) 'Billie'. And success! A perfect egg and now a perfect little puffling!
The video is of the second feeding (iirc) and wow is he ever hungry! We don't know if it's a boy or girl, we just alternate the names every year, male or female.
Go spend hours watching puffins doing puffin things! 24/7! (mostly sleeping) And listen to their calls, that's the "chainsaw" noise you hear now and then... O_o
