Gerry1of1 Gerry! You're back. I was wondering what became of you. Hope everything is okay.

~In response to the "roaches and squirrels" thing, Squrlz unleashes his secret weapon~

I would like to introduce you to Penelope McFluff, the North American Squirrel Ambassador to the Hoomans. Ms. McFluff was chosen by the squirrel community to further understanding and goodwill between the two species.

Touching. I have to think acts of kindness like this reverberate in the universe somehow.

And no, not a relative (unless you go back a limb or two on the evolutionary tree).

No self respecting tree squirrel would associate with a lowly ground squirrel.

holygod Yeah, we tree squirrels do tend to look down our noses at our ground cousins more than a little. We're very proud of our tails. You know how you guys can't stop yammering about your opposable thumbs? That's like us, but with our fluffy tails.

And then, when you're talking about ground squirrels, there's all that dirt. Lots and lots of dirt. And the dopey-sounding dialect. And the bubonic plague. And the space gophers. Bleh. ~Squrlz shudders involuntarily~
