Alt-Right Trump Supporter Reads Hitler Quotes At An Impeach Trump Rally In Chicago

Submitted by: 5cats 2 months ago in News & Politics

This Impeach Trump protest took place in Chicago on July 2, 2017. Did this Trump-supporter, "Shad Daley," make a point or is his little ruse prove what lengths the Alt-Right will go for what they consider a "win."

Here's a transcript:

"Ladies, Gentleman, and non-binary members of this congregation:
I would like to thank everyone for coming out today to support the constitutional rule of law, I stand here today, a veteran of these United States armed forces, and a proud 21st century patriot. I would like to take this opportunity to talk about this oppressive regime, and the repressive regime that constitutes capitalism as a whole.

We are Socialists, we are enemies of the capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with it's unfair salaries, rights it's unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions.

Benefit to the community precedes benefit to the individual... The state should retain supervision and each property owner should consider himself appointed by the state. It is his duty not to use his property against the interests of others among his own people. This is the crucial matter. This American Nation will always retain its right to control the owners of property... A policy of laissez faire in this sphere is not only cruelty to the individual guiltless victims but also to the nation as a whole.

For there is one thing we must never forget... the majority can never replace the man.

Life is like a mirror, if you frown at it, it frowns back, if you smile it returns the greeting.

Donald Trump seems to think that if you tell a big enough lie, and tell it frequently enough, that it will be believed. It’s not the truth that matters, but victory.

The doom of a nation can be averted only by a storm of flowing passion, but only those who are passionate themselves can arouse passion in others."

These are populist sayings inserting "anti-Trump" catchwords. No surprise they were well received. Hitler - like Trump - was a master at lying, telling people what they wanted to hear, all the while hiding the the rabid bugs in his brain.

The first two the only valid options, the third is imaginary.

Hitler was a great speaker who told people what they wanted to hear.   We have to remember; he didn't take power, he was given it.

fancylad, I'm sure some of his, lets say "other" rhetoric would have gone over better at a pro-Trump rally.

cobrakiller Well, he did threaten and intimidate the german legislature into backing his positions. I would say, he was given some power and then took the rest.

It's pretty obvious that the people reading the quotes don't have the IQ to understand what they are reading, much less the people hearing them.

The reason why we don't like Hitler is because he said "Let's fuck up our neighbours", not "wages are unfair". I imagine Hitler had eggs for breakfast once; this doesn't make anyone who has eggs for breakfast like Hitler.

It's a shame people don't study Hitler nearly enough, and instead just label him as evil... He deserves respect for bringing an economically weak Weimar Republic to become a world power in a very short time.
In a way, USA have Hitler to thank for their world dominance. USA's economy boomed during WW2, while Soviet Union took huge losses in the war. Despite the losses, USSR proved to be a formidable rival superpower for decades!

boredhuman REALLY DUDE?  Respect Hitler?  Seriously, Go fuck yourself.

There are literally thousands of people who have done amazing things, that are deserving of acknowledgement and respect.  Hitler deserves a slow roast in any hell that will take him.

How did Hitler gain such success?  Lying, Cheating, Demagoguery, Breaking Treaties, and attacking weaker neighbors, and lets not forget, starting a world war that would see millions dead.  What exactly is so amazing about that?

Fun fact: some of those quotes aren't by Hitler. The one about socialists for instance is commonly misattributed to Hitler in a reasonably ironic way.

hoitymctoitpants That wouldn't surprise me actually, lolz! Some sounded pretty odd...

The point is that people are gullible! Mostly in a humorous way...

Not sure this proves anything aside from the fact that people will give polite applause to someone who appears to be supporting their cause at a political rally.

I'm pretty sure a young white make could do the same thing to a group of rabid trump sycophants and you'd get an even more receptive response. All this proves is that it's very easy to manipulate large groups of people.

fancylad That's what Adolf said!! :-)

I honestly don't think too many Trump supporters would applaud being told the State should control everything and we are merely tools for the Central Gov't... just sayin.
