Bus driver leaves bus in 'neutral' instead of 'park.' Pandemonium ensues.

From UrbanMaxx: An empty runaway MTA bus that travelled at least three blocks and crashed into a church left a man hospitalized and several cars damaged in its path overnight in Brooklyn, the MTA said Wednesday. The bus driver forgot to secure the parking brake, after parking on a hill.

I woke up at noon, had a hot shower and lunch, smoked a cuban cigar by the pool, arrived at work at 3:30, where I instructed the office to hang some new pictures and sent a bottle of 1966 Dow's port to be decanted. Watched a half movie, had a nap and did some IAB and now it's time to go home. That's about par.

pfft, you dont know how my day at work has been gerry/fancy depending on who wrote the subtitle! my day was actually just fine. i did 3 buggy runs all by my ownsies, and i pulled 6 skids of bottled water from the back to the floor. there are 72 packs of 24 500ml bottles of water on each skid. do the math, and then get back to me and tell me how much water i moved, my phone ran out of batteries and couldnt do the last bit in my head and now just dont want to. i crushed it at work today. and i was super helpful to the customers. this lady was looking for hard candies, found her a bunch of mints, but she wasnt looking for mints. run around the whole store, and i finally find it in the last grocery aisle before the coolers and freezers, she was so grateful. and i successfully flirted with the cute 20 year old cashier... i think. yup, good day. and i wasnt even scheduled to work this shift, i was asked to come in. i guess i just wanted to share my day at work with my i-a-b peeps. also, this reverse runaway bus is awesome!

I was supposed to be in Brooklyn the day this happened...
(Granted, I would have been heading home by the time this occurred, but still)
