There are things that Range Rovers are very very good at.  There are also things that Range Rovers are not at all good at.  It is important to understand which is which at any given point in time.

Holy moly that was in tents! And to think you can go from a defender, arguably the best overlander out there, to this!

skypirate when you think of a drift ride, Range Rover is not the first vehicle to comes to mind.  Any time you skid or drift into a curb or gutter bad thing will happen.  He may have done better in a WRX but he gets points for ending up on all four tires.

I wouldnt use a AWD for drifting either. Get a big heavy RWD. My 350 pushing 392 to the wheels.

squrlz4ever There are two ways to measure horsepower in a car. Power at the flywheel and actual power to the wheels (brake horse power or WRHP in this case). Typically flywheel power is ~20% more than brake power because you loose some in the drive train and its usually what car companies quote as 'horse power' in ads and what not. I believe that model was speced at 287 at the fly from the factory but thats not a whole lot for 3400 pound car. And 350 as in 350z.

skypirate Okay, so that means your Nissan 350Z has 392 HP measured at the wheels (as opposed to the flywheel). Got it. Sank chew!

skypirate what I was referring to was the higher center of gravity on the SUV vs a sedan (regardless of 2WD or AWD). The genius in the vidio couldn't have done worse in a 1995 Ford Explorer with 4 bald Firestones.
Let's watch and see if he sues Range Rover and Dunlop:)
