"Star Trek: Discovery" Will Be Coming To A TV Near You This Fall, But Is It Good?

Submitted by: fancylad 4 months ago in Entertainment

'Before Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise there was Discovery... but is Star Trek putting itself in jeopardy over over-saturating the market with too much of a good thing?

I've been spending the last couple months going through the whole series (on Voyager now) and I don't know about all this prequel stuff

Gerry1of1 yeah thanks, i tried to do that but i couldn't.  Care to give a step by step tutorial on how you did that?  I remember when the site changed over you could just drop a link and it would pull the picture, but i haven't been able to do that for some time.

I am both interested and skeptical.  On one hand it looks good, on the other Bryan Fuller bailed on the project for "creative differences".  Fuller is actually a rare commodity in the industry today.  Checkout American Gods if you don't trust me (post Hannibal).

rumham I read the book too and the show is pretty on point.  There are only 3 eps currently and there are some changes from the book, but all in all its a really dark and gritty take on the material.  It's not holding back any punches.

No, it's  coming to a computer/device near you as it is only available online. CBS Access in USA & Netflix everywhere else in the world {Except N. Korea}

Gerry1of1 Learn about VPN plugins, and pretend you are in another country, enjoy all of Netflix and it's available programs across the pond :)
