Venezuela Is Going Nuts As Protestors Take To The Streets In The "Mother Of All Marches"

So Russia's involved? And oil? Anyone else see where this is going? How long before the US get involved, and speaking of the US, do you think it could get so bad during a Trump presidency where Americans take to the streets like this?

doiknowyou Let's see, a country in the midst of Socialist Death Throws. The economy is collapsing, with 750% inflation (and projected to be 2,000% next year).  The military controls the food supply and people are malnourished and/or starving.  The government is seizing private companies (GM is the latest). They've run out of money for social programs, which they can no longer afford after the price of oil (their main resource) fell.

Sounds more likely to have happened in the US if Sanders had gotten in.

megrendel It's not so much a lesson is socialism as much as it is a warning to diversify the national economy.

That said, I'm sure socialism felt pretty good when oil prices were up and the budget was balanced. Now that their 1 export is worthless, Xanadu is lost.

megrendel Exactly. Those folks are fighting for their very lives and freedom, something that a lot of pussies in the US take for granted.

Venezuelans are fighting for their lives, something to eat and the survival of their children.
Snowflakes are triggered when you assume their gender and call them by the wrong pronoun.

In their twisted minds, it's exactly the same.
