It's a time-honored tradition for winning sports teams to show up to the White House after their respected championship games and pose for photos with the standing president. Today, the New England Patriots visited the White House in honor of their miraculous win against the Atlanta Falcons two months ago.
In a side-by-side comparison from the Pats' visit in 2015, you can see quite a few players missing this year. According to The Boston Globe, 34 members of the Patriots were at the White House to visit with Trump -- EXCLUDING Trump BFF Tom Brady (he had "family issues" to tend to). In 2015, it’s thought that the number was closer to 50 when Obama was in office.
Since the only person that cares about the amount of people who showed up to this meaningless gesture is Trump, expect a flurry of angry tweets from him about size tomorrow morning.
