He was probably just daydreaming about starting World War III or something.

normalfreak2 1) Trump making America great again but forgetting to salute. Dumb!
2) Melania, a foreigner, had to remind him. Cute!
3) Melania. Did I mention Melania? Melania! Nothing against Obama, you understand, but I much prefer looking at Melania! Yum!

"Get your tiny little hand over your heart, now!"  :)  But seriously, folks... this is about as worthy of discussion as Obama's coffee-cup salute.

irk Are you serious or pulling my tail? One time Obama exited Marine One with a Starbucks cup in his right hand and saluted the two Marines at the foot of the stairs while holding the cup. Bad form, sure, but the conservatives pretty much lost their wigs over it. You can find a clip of the event online with a Google search.

thezigrat If it's just OK coffee (e.g., your typical convenience store joe), hazelnut creamer. Yummy. If it's good coffee, plain half & half, no sugar. If it's great coffee (like Jamaica Blue Mountain), black.

Last month I went on a tour of a coffee plantation up in the Jamaica Blue Mountains and it was unbelievable. I have a stash of coffee from that trip that I haven't yet opened, and I can hardly wait. (I'm waiting to finish up the coffee I'm currently consuming: Trader Joe's Kenya AA, which I highly recommend. It's inexpensive and very good.)

Trader Joe's Kenya AA: Really good coffee at an everyday price ($7.99 for 13 ozs).

thezigrat Hey, if Swiss Mocha gave me little mini-trips, you can bet I'd be drinking that too. *ssssip* "There's like a whole mini universe in my coffee mug, man."

squrlz4ever When in highschool they kept mentioning about flashbacks and i never believed them about that stuff but im not sure if it was just the association of the Swiss mocha with the experience or if the lsd "rewired my mind" like in those new cigarette  commercials

Yes let's keep everybody distracted by talking about meaningless stupid shit. That is much better than focusing on the big picture.

who cares?  If they really meant what they sang in the anthem the nation would have a people that were free and brave, not not slaved and confused.  People who could stand up to injustices and realize when it's time to take back their nation, not cower behind anonymity and whine where no one will hear them.  Brave people stand up.  Free people are happy.  Neither is there any more, except among the most shrewd, greedy, and wicked.

kalron27 Well, I'm thinking two wrongs don't make a right here (not that Fancy is anywhere near as extreme a political one-note as Pentapuss).

I'd prefer it if we kept a cap on the number of overtly political posts on IAB--like 2 a day. I get most of my politics on sites devoted to the subject. When I come here, I mainly want entertainment, with just a little politics sprinkled into the mix. My two cents, for what it's worth.

squrlz4ever My point is there is still fun stuff here (see my marble machine!), and politics, just like life...and it's many boredom's :)

kalron27 True, thank goodness. Incidentally, sometimes the really short, dopey posts are my favorite. It's nice to get a 10-second fix of something funny or cute.
