Fox News Just Fired Bill O'Reilly In The Midst Of The Host's Rapey Allegations

Submitted by: rumham 5 months ago in News & Politics

You can always count on one thing: A corporation's bottom line will always win over anything else. After quite a long time now, Bill O'Reilly has been accused of sexual harassment towards female co-workers over the years. Just these past few weeks, O'Reilly has been getting a lot of media heat for his pervy shit and 5 out-of-court sexual harassment lawsuits. Then over 20 advertisers jumped ship, and once that happened, everyone knew O'Reilly was on borrowed time, even IAB. w/b: fancylad

Took a while. Glad he's gone :). Anyone who was arguing for him before wanna step back in? Defend the rapist? Was really just making the obvious evident.

Interesting, isn't it, that this only happened after advertisers started dropping them? Apparently, Fox really doesn't care about the allegations.

I'm not sure it's simply "allegations"  For a show that states "no spin zone" odd the boss says they are a safe environment for all.  Change was forced from the outside not the inside.  THey had years to address it, instead they settled for tens of millions to hide the actions of their culture..  They paid off the silence.  They had/have a culture of abuse.

My biggest beef with this, his audience DID/DOES NOT CARE.  They'll still tune into Fox buy all the bullshit 3 times over and come back for more.  It's sad that it came down to advertisers leaving to get Bill O'Reily to be exposed for the fraud he is.  Just like Trumpsters don't care what Trump does, Fox viewers just want to get their views reinforced with no chance at hearing an objective point of view.

normalfreak2 Can't argue with you but please know Hillary supporters would still vote for her even if they found out she eats people. It works both ways, like it or not.

trimble I completely agree.  As someone that was supporting Bernie, I definitely ran into tons of Clinton bots.

You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain..

Pretty sure Bill Cosby will call him and lend a understanding ear.

I've see many men on fox harassing women on their shows over the years. It is an almost daily incident on Fox And Friends that one of their male news casters says something that makes their women co anchors cringe

Fox is literally Madmen in real life.  And people are still defending him yet calling Bill Clinton Slick willy.  Hypocrites.

Gerry1of1 I know how tides work from watching my wave rocker lamp. It's the rocking of the Earth causes tides (J/K I know it's the winds. The Tides go in , and the tides go out) (I know it's really the gravity pull of the moon that causes the tides. I was just bull stying you)

thezigrat No. You were right the first time: it's the slow rocking of the flat earth.
