Chocolate rain was a song many people didn't understand, but after hearing his basic explanation, it's pretty clear to me where he was coming from. Initially, i didn't understand it but had an idea it might be about racism, simply because his lyrics weren't completely mere symbolism. Strange song, but definitely memorable. Also, the dude's voice is amazing to listen to, as it is naturally deep in a "holy shit" kind of way.... Holy shit...he actually sounds like that.

Also, i know people have found the song to be strange, but it sends shivers down my spine, at how relevant it actually is.

@_suzuka I read an interview when this song first got big, it was written by a music professor at some prestegious school I can't remember at the moment. Anyhoo, he said that because Tay Zonday was never exposed to instruments, instruction, or anything else that leads one to making music, "Chocolate Rain" was unable to be categorized and it was it's own new genre or something like that. Apparently, there's more to the song than one would thing. Again, so I've read.

Pretty sure guys video came out years before youtube starting sending out checks for commericals and view count.  Which would suck mightily.
