Even in the middle of winter..I am so glad I live where it is still between 75-80 or above on most days..I hate snow with a passion..Snow is icky! I love to look outside of my window and watch people play on their sailboats and jet skis...Y'all can keep that snow..

pinkminx22 Minx, I always thought you lived in the Midwest, but clearly I'm wrong. Are you in Florida?

Not this storm but the one a month ago I lost my mailbox because the plow went through our neighborhood at 60 MPH and threw heavy wet snow all the way into my front yard.  I drove around and took pictures of over 20 mailboxes knocked down by that asshole, and I didn't even drive down all the streets.  The township blamed the wet snow as the cause and refused to pay for anyone's damages.

My one neighbor caught it on security cam and you could see how fast the fucker was going, it looked just like the train.

kalron27 When I was younger, a kid on my street was 10' back from the end of the driveway and was knocked 20' ass over tea kettle to the back of the family car, when a speeding snow plow ripped through.  He was 9.  His dad filmed the whole thing, and took the VHS tape (shut up, I'm old) down to the local tv station and made the 11:00 p.m. news.  City didn't even try to defend the driver.

punko I ended up speaking to the Township Manager (an elected position) and he flat out lied to me.  First he said "I was out there and only saw a couple of downed mailboxes", my immediate reply was "I have 20+ photos that prove you wrong".  He proceeded to tell me that there is no way I could prove that his truck hit my mailbox and there was no damage to any of his trucks so they are not liable anyway.

Asshole.

I'm on a personal vendetta to get they guy thrown out of office  now...

kalron27 I can see Township Councillors being elected, but a Manager ?  That's weird.

rumham Those chunks of snow at the end, about the size of grapefruits, had to hurt coming in at 100 MPHs or so.

rumham Stupidity all around.  From the people standing right beside the tracks clueless to where the snow will end up, to the engineer who came in too fast to cause that massive wash.  Why not stay in the shelter/station and avoid the chance of danger?  Smh.

The reg speed vid looks like it hurt though.
