Can't watch it, but as someone who has rescued 9 cats in my lifetime, I get it.  The one that is "mine" (or technically I am hers), was a similar situation.  My wife had an outside BoyKitty as we called him who ended up raising his 2 kids.  He went missing and the 2 sisters kept coming around.  Her sister came in immediately, walked right in and sat on the couch.  My cat refused and was even distant from my wife who is known as the cat whisperer.

Anyway, she ended up bonding with me over time, I was the first to pet her outside.  One evening I came home, we had a rather big ice\sleet storm.  She was sitting on our porch covered in ice.  It took me 30 min to get her into the front door, she kept looking at me then looking at the wild.  For the first 2 years she would only come out when I was home.

Now, 8 years later, she is one demanding bitch who would be the first weapon I would pick up in our home if we had an intruder.  Throw that bitch at someone and they would be claw meat in 30 sec flat!  I love my bitch kitten!

OOC When I got my kitty  was an under nourished premie who's eyes had not even changed yet. I had to bottle feed her for the first week I had her

melcervini Glad you liked it. Sounds like you've got a small farm of grateful critters at the Cervini homestead. :)
