Casey Anthony Says "I'm OK" After The Bizarre Death Of Her 2-Year-Old Daughter

Submitted by: fancylad 2 months ago in Lifestyle

In her first interview with a media outlet since she was acquitted in 2011 of the murder of her 2-year-old toddler Caylee, Casey Anthony (pictured above) doesn't seem to have learned anything. In the 10 years since her daughter died, she's still as brash and defiant as she's always been.

"I don't give a shit about what anyone thinks about me, I never will," she said. "I'm OK with myself, I sleep pretty good at night."

This whole ordeal has taught her one thing though -- it's taught her to realize how much she and OJ got a bad rap for murder...

"I can empathize with his situation," she said.

Man I'm so twisted on this one.  The Justice system found her not guilty, I think she was guilty.  But what I think doesn't really matter here.

normalfreak2 Agreed.  I think they went for the throat when they should have gone for a Knock Out.  The charges were too strong to convict, if the went for Manslaughter or Involuntary she might be in jail right now.  I'll admit, these type of crimes fascinate me.

Regardless, and here we go with speculation, I think she was using that "Sleep Drug" to party hard and leave her daughter unattended and used too much by accident, then tried to pull off a fake "Drowning", then went for the "Ditch the Body" idea...and I think her parents helped cover it up because they felt guilty for not being there for either of them as they should have.  Why else was she having to drug her kid to go out partying?  Why wouldn't her parent offer to babysit?

normalfreak2 I'm with you there.  If she was not guilty, why did she lie so much?  However, that's just speculation.  We have no actual proof that she killed her daughter.  However, for your child to be missing for a month and to not have alerted authorities should be a crime in and of itself.  If she really did drown in the pool as they said, why was there no funeral or anything?  Seriously, who does that?  If my child, or any child for that matter, drowned in a pool, after pulling them out and attempting CPR(yes, certified for infant CPR) the first thing i would do would be call 911.  Not just go, "Oh well, let's just dispose of the body and carry on."  I don't see how anyone could do that and sleep at night.  Hell, just hearing about this case again I am probably going to have problems sleeping again.  But like you said, what we think does not matter, all that matters is there was not enough proof to say she really did it so she was found not guilty and WE ALL have to live with that.

Of course she is OK about her daughter's death, she has no conscience at all even after murdering her daughter.  Just like that Bonnet brat that killed his sister

thezigrat I mean kid nappers breaking into her home with out leaving foot prints in the mud below the window said to be the entry way, Creeping in to the home but leaving no mud tracks, Creeping up to her bedroom with out waking her or her parents up who were sleeping in the next room, dragging Joan down to the basement again without waking anyone up,  tying her up, undressing her, raping her, dressing her back up, writing ransom note. Killing her. Creeping half way up to the bedroom steps depositing the note (Again without waking the parents) crawling back through the cut screened open window quietly again with out leaving any foot prints in the mud. and get away All with in 45 minutes the parents said it happened. Or did it happen this way? "Hey Sis lets play a new game ' Let's play S and M?" "OK how do we play?" "Well Sis first lay on the ironing table here, Then I tie you up"...

Bizarre Death Of

Nothing bizarre about the death.  The circus after was what was truly bizarre.

megrendel While I agree it was a circus, there is no stopping it.  The Gulf War and technically Vietnam change that for us permanently.  However, if that circus stops it from happening again or makes one person aware of what they are doing is wrong...then I'm OK with it, I can just turn it off if I want to.
