Trump Tells Illegal Immigrants To Hit The Road

Submitted by: theman01 8 months ago in News & Politics

Mexico reacted with anger yesterday to what one official called "hostile" new U.S. immigration guidelines as senior Trump administration envoys began arriving in Mexico City for talks on the volatile issue.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security unveiled plans on Tuesday to consider almost all illegal immigrants subject to deportation, and will seek to send many of them to Mexico if they entered the United States from there, regardless of nationality.

The tension over the timing of the rules mirrors an outcry when President Donald Trump tweeted that Mexico should pay for his planned border wall shortly before Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto was due at a Washington summit in January.

jayme21 Yes indeed! Funny how the Dems were all in favour of Obama circumventing Congress and the Senate, but suddenly it's a 'bad thing' eh? :/

And no, Trump using Orders to revoke or replace Obama's Orders isn't hypocrisy, it's how the Dems told us it worked!

I like the way some people bring up the idea that they should "only deport the law-breakers". News flash! They all broke the law when they entered the US illegally. Obviously, this doesn't apply to the ones who went through the proper channels, and entered the country legally.

whosaidwhat It cleearly says laws other than illegally crossing...

That said? Many illegals routinely break 'other laws' by using fake ID or SS numbers, for example.

Hopefully the list is going from "worst to least" and they're clearing out the really bad guys now, getting to the shoplifters later... not that career shoplifting is a 'minor crime' eh?

whosaidwhat Question what about those that overstayed their visas, or got married and had kids.  What do you do about them?  Some people here casaledana for example, doesn't care if we split up families.  Isn't there room for these people?  Illegal yes, but are we incapable of an ounce of empathy?

normalfreak2 This is where we have to look at law instead of emotion.  The first step is to update the law to deal with these kinds of concerns.  My niece's husband is from Poland.  He came here legally and went through the hassles to get his citizenship and is still subject to deportation until their marriage ages to a certain point.

If we talk about what is fair, then we have to ask is it fair to allow those who broke the rules to still benefit when those who played by the rules still have to work so hard?

I don't see a good one-size-fits-all answer to the question.  For now, I'd be happy with treating illegal immigrants who commit violent crimes as enemy invaders, locking them up in a military prison until their home country paid a ransom to get them back while creating a path for otherwise peaceful illegal immigrants to gain citizenship.

insaneai We need people like you in Government insaneai  I'm actually running for local office here in Illinois.  I've decided I can't play on the side lines, we need people that can have rational opinions and can do the unthinkable,  "compromise"

Like him or not this is the first President since Reagan that is actually trying to do what he campaigned on. I like that.

Reagan ran the biggest amnesty program ever.  I'm not sure your point was on point.

insaneai Reagan's amnesty program taught the nation a significant lesson. Never make a bargain that requires the other party to honor a promise in the future because there are no assurances that they will. And Reagan did significantly cut down the size of many parts of government and increased our nations defense capabilities ultimately collapsing the Soviet Union. He also deregulated many industries which led to growth and in one case research breakthroughs in combating AIDS.

thezigrat Look, I was going to make fun of how ridiculous your last post was, but I don't think AIDS is funny. I just think it is a great injustice to blame Ronald Reagan for the death of AIDS victims. He had close friends that died of AIDS and even they didn't blame him for it. He had committees look into the epidemic. They advised the changing of FDA regulations to allow people to take experimental drugs. That change was made. Just because he believed that abstinence was better than free condoms to all, doesn't make him evil. Reagan did not create AIDS. Nor did he cause it to spread. He was only the president of the USA, not the god emperor of earth. Nothing would have changed if he had mentioned AIDS in any speeches before '85.

Every nation on the planet kicks illegals out. Mexico is one of the most ruthless and efficient at it.

Their drugs cartels and corrupt government are no prize, they can keep their illegals and the world will be a better place. NOT that all the illegals in America are from Mexico, that's just an MSM myth to stir up anger in the target demographic...

So if the parents get deported and the kids are allowed to stay. where do they all go? Serious question

theman01  If the parents get deported then there children are free to go along, if they want to stay if they have some one to go to there they go, if there is no one to take them and they are not of age well I guess the state gets them. This is the type of thing you have to worry about when you break the law. And it does not matter what law you break this type of thing can happen.

normalfreak2 What common sense the one that said that if I break the rules and live long enough with out getting caught then I get a reward for it. Or the one that said that if I break the law and drag other innocent people into it that every one in the end gets hurt. If I kill some one and I have kids and a wife what do I do with them while I serve my sentence or even if I get the death penalty. What if I have kids and I don't have a wife what then. I'll tell you what I go to jail. And its the same with many people that have to go to jail for there crimes. Why should it be any different for them. Do the crime and do the time. In this case its just go back to where you came from. Take your kids or not its you decision.

kalron27 The Immigration officers,  accompanied with several highly armed soldiers have been sweeping the street next to mine. On more than one occasion they were studying my house and looking at a picture. They have not reached my street yet. It is causing me distress, I think

thezigrat They already rounded up 12 families, many with elderly and children several are newborn. Rounding them up forcefully at automatic rifle point and shoving them into trucks. Placing black hoods over everyone, Children and adults as well.
Last time I saw anything like this was 1944 Berlin

thezigrat It is almost 5 o'clock local time here and it has been quiet for a few hours until about 2 hours ago they started sweeping my street. I actually seen them shoot a whole family  for what I can see through my window , the father refused to get on his knees. They screamed at him in English but Hernando spoke only Spanish. They have gathered at my house now. several of them ran out of my view. I assume they were  circling my home. Just now another truck pulled up and parked on the edge of my lawn facing my front door. It was different than the rest.  Armor plated and It had a 4 foot steel pipe mounted to the front with a metal plate welded to its end. about ten more solders disembarked from its rear. Then about 5 or 6 heavily armed men wearing SCABA suits clustered near the truck. I ran to the basement when they started banging on the door yelling Immigration!
Taking the basement stairs 4 at a time I reached the floor just as I heard the shattering of glass and cracking of wood. I heard One trooper yell GO,GO,GO! I knew I had just seconds to grab my baggie protected lap top and climb down through the hole.

thezigrat I swim down flow for about  two miles till I reach a spot I knew fairly well. A small bricked up area with a small gap in the brick work, Just large enough to get through. Beyond it lay a disused and forgotten set of tunnels from the old drainage system, now dry. These old drains do not even appear in the newer system maps. I have already tapped into old power lines and ran a phone line from above years ago. Hope it still operational. I camouflage the opening so it is indistinguishable to the other brick work. In case they search the system. They will.

thezigrat Now that I've been here for a few hours, I have had time to reflect on my situation. The Irony has not been lost on me. Not unlike George's news paper serialization, Here I am hiding from the murderous humans in the same way one of his protagonists suggested in the story. Underground cowering from the evil monsters. If it was not all to real it would be funny. I remember that day when I first met him as he was taking his morning walks. Talking to him was difficult through the 2 inch gap in the boarded and barred basement windows of the old church  in which I was imprisoned. I told him as much of about me and our plans as I dared, Hoping I might be rescued from these mad monks who have held me in prison for several years. He said he would see if he could go to the authorities to aid this helpless foreign visitor.

thezigrat Over the past few days since the humans began their purge of my neighborhood I had time to reflect on how the members of this  government now seeks to destroy anything unlike them selves. Our world had similar mental structure. There was the Community and your thoughts were their thoughts. One continuity of mind. Any individual variances in function were assigned by the whole. No colors of reason. We have no conception  of Personality and individuality. Any differences in thought from the cold calculating logic of the Community was quickly dealt with by either reconditioning or recycling. Proteins and liquids are not to be wasted.

thezigrat Being separated from the Community  for this long I noticed I have begun to experience sensations, no not quite a sensation  but strange well they aren't quite thoughts but something in between. I felt I think they call it feelings. I also began to feel a feel of self and I enjoyed it. I began to feel conflicted between the concepts of Singularity of the Community and my own desires and feelings. This whole line of thought is a dangerous thing and has led to many being recycled alive.

bliznik  The law says  that if you come in from a specific country you can be sent back to that country and not necessarily back to there country of origin, if you come in to the U.S from Canada you can be sent back to Canada even if you were from Mexico. I guess the premises of the law is that you should have got an illegal in your country before he got in to our country.
