This Is What It Sounds Like On Saturn

Even if living conditions for humans was OK, we wouldn't last one minute with this noise.

NASA was kind enough here to explain how they recorded Saturn's weird noise.

Well, the problem here is that if you read the article, it turns out that, no, this is absolutely not what it sounds like on Saturn. Rather, this is the sound you create if you manipulate radio waves emanating from Saturn by lowering their frequency by a factor of 44 and then speeding up the resulting audio by a factor of 27. There's more manipulation going on here than when audio engineers create the voices of Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I dislike it when scientists do this kind of stuff. It's theatrics, a manipulation of data in an attempt to make things more interesting to non-scientists.

Obviously, this is NOT what it sounds like on Saturn.  The sound we will hear with our ears is wind, and thunder.

Nuh-uh! This sounds like something out of a 1950s B-movie sci-fi flick. LOL!

Just play the x-files opening every now and again and I would be right at home.
